I built a desktop a few months ago, and have a USB wifi adapter plugged in the back. The wifi isn't as fast as I want, but everything runs fine. I installed Windows 10, and noticed my computer stops makes a noise, and stops the wifi when I begin streaming 5 seconds of a TV show. I'll hit play on netflix, watch 5 seconds of the movie, and then the screen will stop, computer will make a sound, and I can't use the internet until I disconnect and reconnect.
I'm thinking it's a problem with my router. My computer is still connected to the wifi, but it seems to restrict my usage constantly. Anyone have suggestions to a fix?

Solution
Update your Network adapter drivers. After upgrading to windows 10, they will undoubtedly be outdated. If this does not fix the problem, it could be a hardware issue, or there is perhaps no current compatible driver for your adapter for windows 10.

Also, make sure that nothing is interfering with the signal. That is, make sure it isn't out of range, or that other devices aren't "competing" for connection.
