Please help I really don't know how to fix my problems, I've tried everything and feels like I'm digging myself in deeper.

On startup I get a critical error message in DOS format telling me there's a problem from a recently installed program and to restore the c drive. I don't know which program and have run Avast Pro checks that show all is clean.

When I try to do a System Restore I'm unable to proceed as C Drive has errors and Windows can't check disk while it's in use. Please Help me....

To top it off I've now been hijacked by Esurf.biz on all three browsers (IE, Chrome & Firefox). I ran an Avast Pro Smart Scan and it came up clean??? Once again Please Help me.....

I've got Print Screens of each stage of popups from system Restore failure but am unable to capture Critical Error at startup in DOS. Thanks in advance :)

Can you boot into Safe Mode? And does this happen there too?

It really sounds like you are infected by some nasty malware.

Most likely, you will need to boot into a boot disk. It sounds like a Rootkit/Bootkit. It is already running when you try to do system restore. Avast can't do anything because the malware has already taken over by the time Avast loads. If you can get to another computer to download a bootable disk, then you might try the Kaspersky rescue disk:

Also, if you have a Windows disk, you can boot to the disk and run Check Disk from there, just to make sure that there are not actual errors in the boot sectors of the drive or in the executables necessary to boot...
