Hello. I finished building my new gaming pc but there is no internet connection. I plugged the ethernet cable into the motherboard, and installed the motherboard lan drivers, but I keep getting an error from Realtek that reads "The Realtek Network Controller was not found. If Deep Sleep Mode is enabled Please Plug the Cable." What does this mean? In Device Manager there is no network adapter from Realtek, only "Microsoft Kernel Debug Network Adapter". Also, I have to press "Show hidden devices", in device manager, for it to show network adapters. I only want to use ethernet, and not wireless.

I have Windows 8.1, an Intel i5 processor, and an Asus p8z77-v lx motherboard. Currently I do not have the gpu in the pc because it does not output video. I think I need to download the AMD drivers first, but I can't do that with no internet.

I would like to know: What does the error message above mean and how do I fix it? How do I get an internet connection on my pc? Do I need to download AMD drivers before installing the video card if it does not output video?

All help is appreciated. Thanks.

Solution
Download the driver and put it on a USB then try updating through Device manager. The wifi card if installed with drivers has to be configured to your wifi network!

In Device Manager there is only something from Microsoft, not Realtek. I've tried installing the Realtek LAN Drivers and keep getting an error which I listed above.

Sorry for the super late reply. I was talking to the person I bought the computer from, but he doesn't seem to want to help too much. There is an unknown device in device manager, but I cannot install drivers or anything because I do not have internet. I also tried installing a wifi card in the pci slot, and I still have no connection. Any ideas?
