Since a month, the PC wasn't starting up, I took it to a PC maintenance center, they said that there were power issues with the motherboard, they fixed it and I used the PC for 2 weeks, then the problem came back again, I took it back to them, they fixed the problem and said that the RAM is ((week)), but the PC is starting normally now but freezes after a few minutes.

When I turn it off and use one of the 2x2GB Ram chips separately, the PC starts normally but freezes also after a few minutes, and sometimes it does not even load the bios.
Does buying new Ram fix the problem ?

Hi,

Do you know what they did to the motherboard.
What's your psu ? Test with another one to rule it out.
Try in safe mode, does the freezing happen?
If not, download hard disk sentinel trial to check your disk health,
You should also download memtest86 burn it to disk and test your memory.

If you motherboard has memory slot problems, it will need to be replaced.

I've been running it on safe mode with networking for about 2 Hours and it didn't freeze.
I can't install these programs as the PC freezes on the normal mode.

In fact they are not sure whether the PSU has a problem or not.
(I don't know whether this is useful to tell or not) => When they tested the PC (at the very beginning) on another PSU, it didn't make any difference, the PC was not launching too, but there is something they noticed, when they inserted a testing chipset which has a led to the motherboard in the chipset below the pci-e one, it didn't light, but when they tried another PSU, the led lighted, but in both test cases the PC was not launching.

The PC is running now since yesterday on normal mode with no problems.
Do you think the RAM slots may be the problem ? Could power issues cause such problem ?
