Hello guys!

Just finished building my new PC, but when I tried to boot it, following happens:

Error Code 00
CPU Fans ARE SPINNING (Corsair H100i GTX)
Pump is running
HDD & SSD are running
GPU Fans ARE SPINNING

but all the other fans do not spin (3 included ones), the system does not show anything on the screen and shows Q-Code 00

Specs:

ASUS X99-A USB 3.1
Intel Core i7 5820k
GTX 980 Strix
4x4 GB Corsair Vengeance 2666 (already tried booting with one stick)
PSU: Corsair RMI 750
Cooler: Corsair H100i GTX

Whats the fault? What can I do to check whats wrong or get everything working again?

Thank you for all answers.

Regards

Thomas

Solution
I've noticed and updated the previous post. So, is the Corsair fan spinning when plugged in the CHA_Fan (as in the picture)?
If not, then I'd RMA both motherboard and power supply.

Ill try, but with my Corsair 780t there shouldn't be any problems with that, all the standoffs were pre-installed

Still not posting, removed the CPU as well, no post..

Do you think its rather the MBs fault or the CPUs?

Im going to send it back then

Try re-seating the CPU, CPU cooler, both 24 and 8 pin power cables (no other components or cables), start the board by shortly touching with a screwdriver the 2 pins on the motherboard corresponding to the case power button.
See if the cooler fans do spin and if still 00.

I already tried that.. Just inserted the CPU, plugged the 24-pin and the CPU-8pin in. (No GPU or drives)

Still 00 and none of the fans spun.

The strange thing is, the pump + fans running off the CPU_Fan header are working perfectly. Just the other case_fan fans dont.

Is that normal in any way? It would be logic if not a single fan would spin.

Sounds good, test that out!

Would that ASUS BIOS flashback help in any way?

If the fans still do not spin after this, I know it's a MB problem right?

Alright, I just connected the 24 pin with and without a CPU inserted.

Both times the same following thing:

CPU_FAN -fan works
Case_FAN fan doesnt

I don't think that the PSU is the problem. Before it powered the pump, 2 fans and the GPU.

Only 1 RAM stick is inserted btw

Could there be a problem concerning the ram speed? On the Intel-page it says that only 2100 GHz are supported. Same thing written down at the 5960x' tech specs.

No, plugged in as in the picture - does NOT spin. Furthermore, all other CHA_Fan headers do not work as well.

It just spins if If i plug in in the CPU header. CPU_OPT works as well.

I was really carefully when installing but could e.g. a screw dropped on the mainboard have damaged it?

Is there any explanation why certain headers work and others dont?

And how about RAM-speed? Might this be a fault?
