I am looking for a good GPU for gaming around 170 euros/185 dollars, any suggestions? And if it's possible I'd like it if the it has 4gb off VRAM (for GTA 5) but that's not really necessary.

Those are pretty good GPU's but in euros they are out off my budget :( here in holland they are all like 200 euros or above and I have a strict budget of 170-180 euros.

They're not being made anymore, but look for the R9 280 and R9 285 in your area. They may be available in your budget range and will outperform a 950. Due to their scarcity though, the 950 is probably going to be your only option.

Yes, I think that I'm going with a GTX 950. I can still buy a r9 280/285 but they are out off my budget. And yes, I have got a 6 pin connector on my power supply but I don't know if 460 watts is enough for the GPU. Thanks for the suggestion by the way

The page says that it is unavailable, but I think I'll stick to the GTX 950. And I looked the card up but the GTX has a little bit better performance. But thanks for the suggestion :)

I fixed the link... Although Alternate is quite the expensive website...

As for the reason I would pick the R7 370 over it, is because of the features. The performance difference is small between the two, but FreeSync is taking off, with a bunch of monitors being released next year. The GTX 950 is indeed slightly faster... But you can have a 4GB version for 2 euros more, and well, 2 GB is already becoming a limit at 1080p.

4GB R7 370

If you are talking about the r9 280, why not look at the Radeon 7950? You can find them for about 120-130 on ebay. I got one last year used and it's been running great. I think newegg is selling them for 130 for refurbished ones. When you look at it, if I remember right the r9 280 is exactly the same card card as I think the 7950 boost, which is just overclocked. Might look at that.

Mine for example can max out skyrim at 1080p with an fx 8120 @4ghz.

Buying used is always shady. That's why new stuff is new stuff.

Btw, you can max out Skyrim on a GT 740 and get 30+ FPS. Skyrim is not a demanding game, bro.

I just purchased (within 2 weeks) a new Visiontek Radeon R9 280x from Newegg for $190 US and some change for shipping.

Upgraded from a Radeon HD 5870. I went from running Fallout 4 at LOW settings to ULTRA MAX for less than $200. I get framerate drop when I go into big open areas though. Had some minor issues when installing it, when I disconnected the power I somehow reset the CMOS, and the boot order got messed up, but it was a small problem in the scheme of things.

Okay but can I use it with my 450-watt PSU? and I'll be gaming on 1280x1024 so it isn't really a problem. I want to order my GPU this evening so if you can answer fast :)

Alright, so my PSU can handle both so that's a good sign. But now I need to choose between the 2 GPU's :p
I can see that the GTX 950 is a little bit faster and gets a little bit better fps at games.
But the R7 370 Gaming has 4gb so that's also nice :)
I'm not really sure wich one to choose :p

I can understand the concern of buying used, like myself I had doubts but it worked out very well. Of course you need to find someone on line ebay with excellent feedback, plus I think there is buyer protection through PayPal. But buying from Craigslist for example could definitely be more risky.
