Is it normal that im getting 40fps on farcry4?

I recently bought a Powercolour R9 380 4Gb but when i run farcry 4 on low setting @720p im getting 40-60fps 46avg. Is this normal? Ive reinstalled windows 10 because ive bought a MSI B85-G43 Gaming, an I5 4460 and the R9 380. Motherboard drivers arent up to date but the graphics card is. Is it a problem with the game? Its on Uplay btw.

Seems low for that GPU. There's a number of benchmark videos of people playing on ultra 1080p 60 fps. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fkv2FTLDB98)

How much RAM do you have? Full system specs? Temps? Any background processes running? Malware? The game doesn't like some firewalls/antiviruses.

8gb ram corsair vengeance does 1333mhz affect the game? Cause its 1866mhz ones. Sry for that down vote i clicked by mistake and cant undo.

I don't think RAM clock will affect much; if you have 8 GB you're good as I've never seen the game use more than 4 GB. Without more information on your end I can't really say anything else; all the questions in my first post still apply and you'll have to check the troubleshooting thread for more information.

Are you running the Nvidia Gameworks settings? They aren't meant to run on AMD cards and if you are trying to run them it would explain your problems.

I don't remember what all of them were but I know there are Nvidia specific shadows, god rays, fur, and I think fog settings.
