Guys, I just bought a brand new (at least I thought it's was new) Asus GTX 960 card.

Upon starting app's such as Unigine Valley, (Asus Tweak + any game) or (AfterBurner + any game)

the clock speed immediately reads almost 1500MHz // the card was made to boost up to 1350 TOPS.

I am also not thrilled about the temps..........I heard that its cooling system was supposed to be amazing........... Anyways - not impressed with the way the card cools..........after 5 mins of gaming it goes up to 65 C.........

Did I end up getting a card that was tampered, BIOS flashed, returned, OC'ed

or is i this in the range of normal?

Thank you SO much : )

nVidia inspector reads exactly what Asus Tweak does. It says: "est. max. 1418MHz" // for the core clock
But the thing is that my card immediately jumps to over 1400MHz.
Unigine Valley 1.0 constantly shows 1493MHz regardless of whether I am running the Gaming Mode, Silent Mode, Custom Mode............

Yeah I am wondering the same thing about my MSI gtx 960 100 million edition..

MSI product page says 1304mhz boost clock in OC mode, yet the core maintains 1443mhz in games, and 1493mhz if I put it in OC mode using the MSI gaming app.

Happy New Year, I am spending the New Year's Eve with my GTX 960 playing The Witcher III. It sounds depressing, but really - it is not. I am too old for parties and what not :)
