I need a driver for my laptop to be able to get online. can I download one to my smartphone and then upload it to my laptop ?

You can either send it Bluetooth, or connect your USB phone cable to your laptop. The phone should show up under My Computer as a drive and you can simply drag and drop to your desktop. The trick is finding the file on your phone, you might have to dig around a little to find the folder its in.
