power supply cables for xfx r9 280x

Hi, i've got a seasonic g series 650w 80 plus gold power supply. I need to to connect my 8 pin cpu as well as my remaining 6 pin graphics card power. I wasn't sure which ones to use.

there is a 4x2 that is sleeved running directly from the power supply. I'm not sure if i should use it to power the cpu

hey, thanks for the quick reply. ok, so it is okay to use the 4x2 sleeved for the cpu power? also, since my card draws high wattage..from what i read- I should use another cable(from modular set) to plug in to the PSU for the 6 pin power?

The original sleeved cable has two 8 pins that can both turn into 6 pins.

I used one of them to power the 8 pin connector... is it possible or safe to use the other one to supply power for the 6 pin (red arrow), or is it better that i use a separate pcie cable like in the pictures
