Hey guys,
I just finished my first PC build last night and after a bunch of issues with getting it connected properly, I finally got it working.
Installed windows 7 and everything was going smoothly until I couldn't connect to steam. I reset winsock or something after reading that was a possible solution and it actually worked. I got excited and started to download a few games and this is when It started.
I have been crashing to blue screen a few times over the past 24 hours and not just when downloading through Steam. I think it may be open when it has happened otherwise but im not totally sure.
Event Viewer says that the error is critical and has happened ten times in total. It says the source is Kernal-Power and gives the event ID of 41.
Just wondering if anyone has any possible solutions because I just want to get this all up and running smoothly.
EDIT: my parts are:
Intel i5-6400
ASRock B150M Pro4 Motherboard
Asus Geforce GTX970 4gb GPU
Antec VPF550 PSU
TP-Link TL-WN781ND wireless adapter
Thanks alot,
Jack
