Radeon 7950 XFX 3GB

Hello Guys,

How are ya?
Hope you are doing well.

I was playing some DragonAge today when this happened.... My screen got blank and the PC freezed, I tried ctrl+alt+del and didn't worked so I have done a hard reset(turnoff the pc in the power button). When I turned the PC on again this are happening in my monitor:

Evidence 2

Evidence 3

I do have 3 possibilities of root cause:

- Graphics card died

- Memory have been burn

- Processor have passed away

What do you think?
Can you please help me?

Can you post the rest of your specs? Or at least motherboard and CPU.

Your graphics card is dying. Probably the memory. Sorry.

Hopefully they are under warranty. If not, time for a possible upgrade.

Or at least equivalent replacement parts.

I think cdabc123 is aware of that. I believe he\she is suggesting you make the GPU run slower than its base speed.

My hardware knowledge is almost none, so I understood in that way.

Anyway, how do I do that?
Do you have any guide to do that? What to I have to change? Currently I can`t even logon on windows, but I believe that I have access to the BIOS.

Well if i try to login my screen will go blank and I can't see anything...

you can flash the bios of the card to give it a lower clock but i highly discourage doing that.

wait. try loading it into safe mode. it should disable the gpu driver allowing you to go into windows and under-clock it

probably. i heard you can fix aritfacting by baking the card. but i have never heard of anyone succeeding at this.
