Hi Fellas,
I'm getting a MSI z170a Gaming M7 which supports max 64gb ram.
Originally I was going to get Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (8x2) 3200MHz, but then read a couple of posts which state that system has booting issue as it is not compatible (with NO overclocking) so now I'm getting Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (8x2) 2400MHz
Can anyone let me know if 3200Mhz ram will be compatible? If yes, any supporting evidence would be appreciated
Also what will the impact if I get ram with 3200Mhz vs 2400Mhz? I'm mostly building my rig for gaming
If I wish to get additional RAM then, do I need to go for another kit of the ram that's already present in my system?
Thanks!
Neal
