so my sli is not working

i tried everything my psu is low but it im just trying to see if it works so i can buy a bigger psu.i tried switching them. update the drivers, and made sure there not over clocked.
i7-4770k
evga gtx 960 2 of them
evga x87 ftw motherboard
8gb 1600 mhz

Looking on the EVGA website for your board (which is a Z87 not x87) it suggests there are PCI-E disable jumpers...have you checked your motherboard manual to confirm the jumper settings are correct for both PCI-E slots?
