Brand new built computer won't turn on

Hi there, I have never built a computer before. Today I tried and when I thought i had everything in place, i plugged it in and hit the power button. Nothing happened, and yes, I did flip the switch on the back. This is my parts list, i dunno where I went wrong. I dont really know what errors to check for, I need some advice.

To Do:
-Make sure wall outlet is actually working (test this with other electronic devices or a tester)
-Make sure surge protector (or whatever fancy thing you might use) is actually working (test this with other electronic devices or a tester)
WHILE UNPLUGGED AND OFF
-Make sure everything inside the computer is correctly attached (no loose connections, no incorrect connections)

Also, if you can:
-Try testing components with other PCs to make sure things like the PSU aren't broken.
