R9 R95X2 Radiator Position?

Hi all,

I was just hoping for some advice as to where the best position for R95X2's radiator should be. I've currently got it where the standard rear fan normally is (fan has been removed to accommodate).

I have since bought a couple of case fans for cooling and I was wondering whether I should keep it where it is currently and install the two new fans either on the side of the case or at the top... or should I re-mount the radiator at the top of the case and just install the new case fans on the side?

Just to note I am planning to buy a couple more case fans in the future.

I assume you mean the AMD R9 295X2...the one with the separate AIO cooler for the GPU's. If so then having it mounted where it is currently should present no issues. I'd suggest mounting both side and top fans (side as intakes, top as exhaust since hot air rises) to help with air circulation in your case in general.

The issues of whether your AIO fan should pull air in or exhaust air out is open to debate...but in reality I've found with my H80i CPU cooler mounted on the rear position as an intake (the way Corsair recommends) makes a 1 - 2° difference as its pulling in cooler air from the room rather than exhausting warmer out through the radiator from inside the case.
