A good 1080p monitor for under $75? I think you're asking a little too much unfortunately!

The most you can get for that is a second hand monitor off of eBay or Craigslist, though this refurbished 21.5" from Newegg comes close: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824009825

Going to be honest though, it would be a real shame to spend all that money on a nice 970 set-up, only to for it to power a cheap and nasty monitor. Thats like putting a 500bhp engine in a rusty old car with no tyres or seats.

There are no really cheap 1080p monitors. If you need to pay less then go with an open box or refurbished unit like this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824009891&cm_re=refurbished_monitor-_-24-009-891-_-Product or this
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824009881&cm_re=refurbished_monitor-_-24-009-881-_-Product

And you need a better high-performance PSU for that system. You cannot use 1866 RAM (at that speed) with the motherboard and 2 x 4 is faster than 1 x 8.

I assume you plan to use this as a secondary monitor when you get the money to afford a better, bigger monitor, suited to the rest of your system.
