I'm thinking of making a huge upgrade and building a new PC as my current PC is struggling to run games at ultra performance.
I've got my specs lined up:
Gigabyte Z170X-Gaming G1 Intel Socket 1151 Motherboard
Intel Core i7 6700K 4.0GHz Quad Core (Socket 1151)
HyperX FURY Black 16GB (2x 8GB) 2400MHz DDR4 RAM
Palit NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 Ti Super Jetstream
Samsung EVO 850 2.5" 250GB SATA III SSD
CiT Vanquish Gaming Black Midi Tower Case (not like that really matters towards the PSU)

I heard the i7 6700k can be overclocked to around 4.7 - 4.8ghz? Which i may fully intend on doing so, therefore i need a pretty good PSU. Thanks

No it has to be a very specific power supply with strong all Japanese capacitors. There are only a handful of high quality power supplies especially in this price range. For example the Corsair CX 750w does not compare to this, It's trash in comparison.

And it doesn't actually have to be 750 watts, 650 watts is also enough.

This one is 20 dollars cheaper if you want to save a bit of money but is also a very high quality power supply:

Power Supply: EVGA SuperNOVA GS 650W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply ($89.98 @ Mac Mall)
Total: $89.98
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available

Great thank you. I do know my computers as I've built them for the last 10 years or so, but I've always had to ask the assistants if the power supply is correct just to make sure :) Thanks for your help guys much appreciated.
