hello :D soo i recently bought the asus strix gtx 970 4gb oc'd aand i was so happy.then i came home put it in my rig and started up some games aand then i was heart broken when i saw that i averaged about 48-50 fps on gta 5 on the default settings i looked it up on the net and i found out that my processor(amd fx 6300 3.5ghz not oc'd) was bottlenecking my gpu.soo my question is is there anyway for me to improve my fps oor should i buy a new processor(if yes please suggest a budget processor that wont bottleneck my gpu) ty in advance

You could always overclock your CPU for a free boost in FPS in your games. The FX6300 has potential for significant overclocks if you have the right cooler...upwards of 4.2Ghz based on feedback on several forums, however if you were to go down this path (which is only a few BIOS changes at the end of the day) you really need to make sure your CPU cooling is up to the job.

I'd suggest you post a question in the overclocking forum and go from there. For info, I OC my FX-8350 to 4.6Ghz with only a bump in vcore voltage to 1.4 volts and an increase in the multiplier to 23. I also turn off cool 'n quiet and any turbo options, but basically its all done in BIOS quite easily. I run a H80i AIO cooler from corsair and my CPU temps stay...
