My computer completely shuts off after playing games for 20 minutes or so...

I am kind of an amateur when it comes to dealing with computer problems, so bear with me. Whenever I play a game that requires a moderate amount of graphics for it, my computer crashes. When it crashes, there is no warning. It just shuts down completely and I have to press the power button to turn it on again. What I'm asking is if anyone would be kind enough to tell me what I need to do to fix this and how I need to do it.

What program could I use to monitor the temps? I cannot test another power supply and my computer is no longer under warranty.

Okay, I ran the HWmonitor and noticed that my temperature for my CPU was 87 degrees Celsius when it crashed. When I rebooted my computer I also got a message from the bios saying that the cpu is overheating. I never get that message when the computer normally crashes without me running the HWmonitor but I don't think that really matters. So it may be a cooling problem?

Okay so the way I actually solved this was cleaning out the PC with compressed air. There was a lot of dust in there. Just goes to show that the easiest problems should be tested first. I want to thank alexoiu for trying to help me. I appreciate man. Merry Christmas.
