I am going to build a gaming pc next week and I want the best gaming pc for no more then £750 I want it to have an ssd an i5 cpu and a gtx 970/ r9 390 I also want all the parts to be bought of amazon, dont ask me why. Thanks

Solution
If I were limited to £750 I would build this (similar to the rig I actually built)

Intel Core i5-4690K 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor
Gigabyte GA-H81M-HD3 Micro ATX LGA1150 Motherboard
Crucial Ballistix Sport 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory

GeForce GTX 960 Video Card
Samsung 850 EVO 250GB 2.5" Solid State Drive

Seagate Barracuda 2TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
EVGA 550W Power Supply
DVD optical drive
Case of your choice up to £25

Then, in a couple of years time, I would upgrade the GPU to a far better one which will be available in 2018 - whatever replaces the GTX 970 for example
Easy to say, harder to do.

It is very much easier to upgrade a GPU than it is to buy a new motherboard and CPU and re-install everything from scratch.
So if you are limited by budget, I say get a fast CPU that will last 5 years or more, and plan to replace the GPU halfway through the life of the computer
The 960 is still a very good graphics card, and should be able to play pretty much anything for the next couple of years minimum.

My sons gaming PC is a 4 GHz AMD Phenom II Quad core with a 7790 GPU. It has lasted over 6 years, and had a new GPU in 2013.
The whole thing is about to be replaced, but we certainly got good value for money out of it.
