SATA cables question

Can somebody tell me the difference between SATAe and SATA cables and which to use with a SSD, HDD, and disk drive? I got 4 sata cables with my motherboard. They all have SATA 6bs on them, not sure what kind they are.

They will work fine. SATA 6 Gb/s means that they run at 6 Gb/s, the highest consumer speed currently available.

You want to use SATA cables with SSDs, HDDs, ect. All sata cables will work with any sata port, be it 6 Gb/s or 3 Gb/s.

SATAe or SATA express is a faster version of sata. You can only use eSATA if the devices specifically states it.

Don't confuse esata and satae. Satae isn't used by anything except the m.2 standard. Sadly no one seems to want to jump on it. I don't even see any cables for it and all your cables are sata 3. 6gb/s is not the highest consumer speed as satae is 16gb/s. Esata is external sata for some external hdds.
