Hey Everyone,
I bought the Noctua ND-D15, which comes with two fans, two low noise adapters and a Y-Cable to be able to plug everything into one slot.
Is it best to attach both of the fans via the Y-Connector and use the CPU_Fan or have each fan go into a separate header (CPU-Fan and CPU_Opt)?
The reason I am asking is because I found in some places that the motherboard regulates only the CPU_Fan speeds based on CPU temp, but the CPU_Opt is always at max. Not sure if its true, but I want both to be regulated based on CPU speed (btw, they are 4 pin fans). Also, if I do use two separate headers, does it make any difference which fan going into CPU_Fan (the one before the header radiator or the one in the middle)?
Thanks a lot!
