There are two answers really.

1) if you are going to use the 60HD PRO then you will need to make sure you have an open PCIe 1x or bigger slot (You will probably). Then, you pop the capture card in to that PCIe slot on your motherboard. With this done, you will need to locate the HDMI port on the back of your motherboard on the I/O panel (back of your PC case). When you are done with this, plug the HDMI cable in from your motherboard to the Elgato card (It should be fairly close together). Next you will need to route an HDMI cable or an HDMI to VGA/DVI to your monitor from the Elgato card. There are two clearly labelled ports. It's fairly simple!

2) You get the HD60 regular edition. This is a standalone card meaning instead of putting it in the PCIe slot, you route a cable directly from your motherboard/graphics card (but you are using an APU, so it would be from the board) to the card and out the back of the card to the monitor. I believe it needs a DC plug to the wall but that's it.

I'm not an expert on Capture Cards, but I believe this is all you need to know!
