what should i upgrade in my pc (for current game titles that are out)

msi r9 270x 2gb gpu

samsung 850 pro ssd 128gb

a-data xpg 8gb (2x4gb) 1866 ram

i was thinkin the storage for sure and maybe the gpu? i game at 720p currently in a few months when i can also afford a 1080p monitor then at 1080p resolution i will game at.

 
Solution
Upgrade the GPU. That will give you the best bang for the buck. The FX 8350 is good enough CPU for pretty much any game out now. Depending on your budget I would opt for the R9 390/390x. Your PSU shouldn't have any issues with either of those GPU's or even a GTX 970/980/980Ti if you fancy Nvidia more.

Also, once you upgrade your Monitor you will be able to afford a better gaming environment (more to see on the screen at one time). I'd upgrade the monitor and then the GPU. See how the r9 270x does with the games that you play on the new monitor and go from there. The r9 270x is a decent 1080p gaming GPU, but it is the part that is holding your gaming experience back.

okay and what should i do about storage add a secondary hard drive? get a bigger solid state drive as the main drive? or add a secondary solid state drive?
