Question about ram speed vs latency

So I've been wondering what is better, if my ram runs at 1600 9-9-9-24
or if I speed it up to 2133 at 12-12-12-24

Is one better than the other? Both are stable.

The 2133 mhz did perform better so I would go with that.

I've tested my DDR3-1600 with much tighter timings and it produces way better results than your overclocking to 2133:

Lower latency makes the system feel a little more responsive.

I'd try testing with some other BMs also - the 2133 settings here show better results, but MaxxMem can give some squirrely results

Can run Si-Sandra, Aida 64, Passmark Performance test, Did an article on 2400 sets earlier this year might give you some ideas:
