One 6-Pin PSU Connector enough for EVGA GTX 960 SSC?

This has been irking me. I have a brand new EVGA GTX 960 SSC 4gb card coming in Monday, and a Corsair CX430 (430w) power supply in my rig. That psu only has one 6-Pin PCi connector, and the 960 has an 8-pin, but does have a splitter for two 6-Pin connectors. Will one 6-Pin be enough? I've looked around, and I've seen some people say it won't work, but in those same threads, people are saying that it does work, even with the higher-end FTW editions of the 960. Shouldn't one 6-pin be enough?
Thanks!

Your PSU has the 8 pin to run it.

PCI-Express Connector
1 x 6+2-Pin = 8 pin.

24-pin ATX connector (600mm)

4+4-pin ATX12V/EPS12V (600mm)

1

6+2 PCIe (600mm)

1

SATA (2 cables w/ 2 connectors each) (400mm+150mm)

4

5.25" Peripheral Power Connector (1 cable w/ 3 connectors each) (400mm+150mm+150mm+150mm)

3

3.5" Drive power adapter (+150mm)

Oh I uh... I didn't read that as being 8-Pin...
Well now I feel stupid. Thanks for reassuring me though!
