Hi so I have had this problem for awhile now. Not sure exactly how long. But today I noticed it got a little bit worse. Sometimes you can barely hear it and sometimes it is quite loud but I hear a rapid ticking/clicking noise that is definitely coming from the CPU area. It is not my PSU, SSD, GPU, or case fans. I do know that much just by putting my ear close to them. The only thing I can think of is my cpu fan but I dont see anything it would be touching. Could it be getting too hot and then the fan speeds wayyy up? Not entirely sure whats happening. Maybe the fan itself? Thanks.
Id also like to add I cannot test the fan itself because the program I have always used to adjust rpm's hasn't worked since I moved everything over to my SSD.
