Hi,
I need help building my PC. I intend to use it for gaming, video recording/editing and rendering.
My budget is $2000 but my max is $2050. I am going to be building it myself.

My current specs are:
CPU: Intel i5 6600 - $329
CPU Cooling: Corsair H55 Liquid CPU Cooler - $99
Motherboard: MSI Z170A Krait Gaming - $265
Graphics Card: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 970 G1 Gaming - $529
Memory: Corsair 16GB (2x8) 2133MHz DDR4 - $169
HDD: Seagate 2TB Desktop HDD - $105
Case: NZXT Phantom 820 White - $325
Power Supply: Corsair 750W Bronze Power Supply - $149
Optical Drive: 2x Samsung SH-224DB Black Internal 24x - $29

I would really appreciate some feedback about my system, please tell me if it works and if those parts are good enough.

Thanks

Solution
Oh yeah, IMO they would seem to be a nice fit to the build

Hi C12Friedman,

Would I need to overclock the CPU, because that would cost extra. And do you recommend a Power Supply that is a good price, I just didn't know how much watts I needed.

Thanks

Here are a few PSU's that I feel would be better (and less expensive)
1) EVGA 220-G2-0750-XR 80 PLUS GOLD 750 W Made by SuperFlower, it offers a 10 year warranty this review may help http://www.jonnyguru.com/modules.php?name=NDReviews&op=Story6&reid=380
2) SeaSonic S12G-750 750W 80 PLUS GOLD Non-modular but offers a 5 year warranty reviewed here http://www.pcper.com/reviews/Cases-and-Cooling/Seasonic-S12G-Series-750W-Power-Supply-Review/Final-Thoughts-and-Conclusio
With a 750W PSU in there you would be able to add a second GTX970 if desired in the future. If not considering that possibility, you could go to a 550W PSU without issue. We can look into ~550W PSU's if you might want to go that way.

Without the option to overclock, the aftermarket cooler would be overkill, the stock cooler should work fine (unless noise is a consideration) and you'll save another ~$100

Last, out of curiosity, why the Phantom 820? There are other NZXT Phantom models that would seem to be a bit more appropriate fit to this build IMO (and less expensive) - you can ignore this, just a curiosity question

With those prices, it almost has to be Australia, the Land of Everything Electronic Costing Double For No Good Reason.

My main comment build-wise is to lose the $300 case and use the savings for at least a 250 GB solid state drive, 500 if possible. It's generally not a great experience to have a 2 TB mechanical hard drive as your main/only drive, and for those uses it's really going to be chugging.

Also, I'd say you don't need a $250+ motherboard unless you're planning on extreme overclocking or triple SLI, so since neither of those are on the menu, it's OK to step that down a notch as well.

Ok, thanks I'll just stick to a fan cooler. But won't that make a lot of noise.

I really wanted to have the Phantom 820, it looks very nice and has plenty of room to upgrade later on.

Do you recommend any good motherboards, I don't know what motherboard to buy.

Would the GPU and Memory work well with the EVGA power supply and the ASRock Fatal1ty H170?
