Hi guys

I plan to save money starting on january 2016 so that i can purchase parts for a CAD/Graphics Design/Gaming build for my brother and maybe i'll save up to june or july or until i complete all the parts that i need for the build. My brother will start going to the "school" by june or july maybe and i want him to have a computer so that he can practice the things he will learn from school and also from time to time i'll use the computer for games with maxed out settings and probably going to use 3 monitors for some games (just because i want to experience what it's like to play games on 3 monitors) or if my brother needs a setup like that in the future.

so the question is, is the 4790k still going to give me a good to best performance on the CAD/Graphics Design application and will still give me that "future proof" feeling?

If not, should i stick a 5930k? or a newer 6700k?

For the motherboard, i need something that is good for overclocking because from time to time, i want to try overclocking the pc a little whenever my brother is not using it and also capable of a 2-way/3-Way SLI for gaming or if there's a significant boost on rendering time/function with the SLI feature.

For the GPU, is the 980/980 Ti worth it? or should i just wait for the Pascal(1080/1080 Ti)?
If you're going to ask, why GTX cards? Simple: because i'll be playing games with this machine of course! (i'm not saying that you can't play games on workstation cards but GTX cards are great for games(mainly))

Aftermarket cards or reference cards?

For the memory: since it will be used for a CAD/Graphics Design, is the 16GB good enough? or higher?

2133Mhz? 2400Mhz? Or higher?

PSU: Of course, something that can accommodate the specs(example: 4790k, 2 GTX 980, 16GB Ram)

What else?

SSDs: how much do i need? 3 500GB for OS, applications, scratch disk? in these days, what brands are great for these applications?
HDDs: do i really need one? I'm not sure if we will put personal files here or maybe some of my brother's finished works

Monitors: is a 24" inch monitor a minimum to these application? How about brands?

I guess that's all for now. Maybe i'll have more questions once i receive responses from you guys.

Thanks!
