Mixing RAM Makes and sizes

Hey guys, I currently have 8GB (2 X 4GB) of Corsair Dominator RAM @ 1600MHz. Can I then add in 8GB (1 x 8GB) more of Crucial Ballistix Sport also at 1600MHz? Or does it have to be Corsair Dominator in 2 x 4GB too?

My mobo is the AsRock Fatal1ty H97 Killer.

Do not do that. RAM shouldn't be mixed like that, since there might be differences in their various specifications. In addition, it is not advisable to even mix ram from the same model. You should rather use a single RAM kit because the ram stick in a kit a matched as close as the manufacture can for it to function well together.
