MoBo and GPU compatibility

I have a MSI 970 Gaming MoBo and I have a plan on buying a new gpu, a 980Ti. My problem is I don't know if it's compatilbe on my motherboard. Any answer will be appreciated.

In general, all GPU's will fit on a motherboard. All you need to have is to make sure that your PSU can provide sufficient wattage.

All graphics cards use a PCIe x8 or x16 usually, so compatibility is almost always there.
