Hello, I've got the Asus GTX 680 (2gb model) but I can't seem to turn the fans off. I want to turn the fans off because I can't hear the audio through my PC speakers properly due to noise of the 680's fans, and I know that it is my 680 fans which are causing the loud background noise.

They are on because it is hot. Use something like afterburner, or Asus's equivalent, and control the fan speeds so that the fans are slow at lower temps. I doubt that it really is your GPU fan, unless you are gaming and it is loud, in which case it'll still be loud or too hot.
