HyperX Fury DDR3 1600MHz 8GB Black
ASUS GeForce STRIX GTX 970 4GB PhysX
MSI Z97 GAMING 3, Socket-1150
Intel Core i5-4690K

So these are my specs, but for some reason when i play my games my computer will go in black screen and stay for that - I can still hear music in my headset, but it stays black until i reboot.

OR

It goes green/blue-ish and force a reboot it self.

Now when i built the pc, the memory and motherboard had a hard time to function together. Example.. The blocks could only match in the 1,2 setup - not the usually 1,3 or 2,4 not 3,4 but ONLY 1,2... It doesn't detect the memroy otherwise.
Another note.. I can put 1 of the blocks into 3 and it will boot, but as soon as i add the other it won't. I can then add that block to 2 and start, and then reboot with the last block in 1 - it is so weird, sometimes it works other times it doesn't. - Not compatible or what might be wrong?

It has been doing quite well for about a year, but now suddenly this? And i just tried to format the computer and install the latest drivers - still a problem?
Thank you for the help.

This is my PSU: Corsair CX 750M, 750W PSU
And no i dont think i have latest BIOS or mobo drivers. - My gpu drivers are up to date.

I dont really have the big clue on how to install BIOS or update mobo drivers - can you maybe describe how?
When i try to update BIOS - do i need to update every single update from 2.0 to 2.9?
http://www.msi.com/product/motherboard/support/Z97-GAMING-3.html#down-bios

And when i try to update 2.0 - and run the .exe it says i have a different windows version than the program - like i have 64-bit but the program is for 32 bit - but i can't find a place to change that/get the right version?

For Drivers when i try to update f.ex. VGA drivers, it says something like this:"This system doesn't meet the minimum requirements for this installation" - rouch translated xD

So i need a big help on what to do, and how to do - I'm not that great with BIOS and drivers

I opened msinfo32 - and found that i have the "V2.9, 28-08-2015" version - but the newest 2.9 came out 02-09-2015??

Could actually be the power supply I had the same one and my system had issues. Mine presented a problem right away but could be because of the more demanding hardware I got. Check out this list of PSU and the one you have is listed as "Not for gaming rigs or overclocking systems of any kind.". http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/id-2547993/psu-tier-list.html

My story.
I bought the same card with an ASUS Z97-AR mobo and i7 4790k. I've never actually been able to buy the latest and greatest components before and I didn't realize how specific the power supply needed to be. I put the rig together and upon plugging in my nostromo controller, the screens went black. After unplugging the controller and giving it some time it came back up and stayed on for a day while I continued to install things on my fresh install of Windows 10 on my brand new SSD and then I was running Starcraft 2 and even though this rig should kick it's butt, something looked funny about the graphics. Then I got black screens again.

This time it didn't come back until I unplugged one of my monitors. (It actually happened to be a VGA with a DVI Adapter plugged into the first VGA ready port). Since I had one screen I went back to a restore point which was pretty much right after windows was installed (before even installing my wireless software). I tried plugging in the second monitor and instantly the working one went black.

I went to work yesterday and told the story to my co-workers and one of them who is a PC enthusiast said it's probably my power supply. I was running a Corsair 750 Watt CX750M. You'll notice on that link it's in tier 4 and it specifically says "Not for gaming rigs or overclocking systems of any kind. " Oops.

So I was able to exchange it for EVGA 220-G2-0850-XR 80 PLUS GOLD . Oh my gosh. I hooked up the new power supply and it was like I had a new system. The second monitor came back, Windows 10 itself was running even smoother even my wireless downloaded faster cus before I had downloaded The Division (Came free with the card) and was waiting for 9pm so I could try it and I had the problem at like 7:30. So since I had done the restore point I had to download again and it was screaming fast. Ran the game for an hour no problems, smooth frame rate, cool temps. The system is beautiful. I thought 750 watts was plenty (which as just a number it is) but if you don't get a tier 1 or 2 PSU especially if you have a Haswell based CPU (look that up, haswell power requirements) you're asking for issues. If you haven't resolved the issue, try a new power supply. I highly recommend the one I got and it's extremely well rated. Better even than the Platinum in the same family.
