Building a budget pc gaming build for around $500. I'm wanting to do mini itx all though if the price is significantly cheaper for other for factors please, do tell. If you find an intel chip that performs better for the price it would be excellent if you could help me. Thanks in advance for the help.

I know it's counter intuitive to many whom want to build a cheap rig, but an entry level Core i3 is only $10 more (4170), and with HT on gives you the effective power of 3 solid cores vs AMD's weak cores. Plus a lot of devs just don't optimize their games very well for AMD CPUs. The i3's 1150 platform gives you a FAR better upgrade path too, vs AMD's current go nowhere path. AMD might be exciting again when their Zen Cores launch, but they won't fit AM3+.

since you didn't put a hard drive in your build i left it out in mine. but a 1tb wd blue drive is $50
