Hello - I need to connect Palit GTX 980 to ROG swift

The Palit only has DVI and 3 x MINI DP

Do I get a cable that's DVI on one end and DP on the other

OR - MINI DP to DP?

I guess I also need a 1.2 DP cable.

I've seen cables (mini DP to DP) that offer 4k (3840x2160) @ 60 hz - so would these cables be good enough for 2560x1440 @ 144hz?

There clearly is a DVI connector on the GPU.

Next time try and write your complete question in the body of the post and not to try and cram it all in the subject line.

sorry - I didn't post my question properly. I've edited it now. I'm looking for Mini DP to DP - or do I go for DVI to DP?

mini dp to dp, gsync will only work on dp, and you've got it so use it.

One more thing: I've seen Mini DP to DP cables that promise 4K @60hz. - are these cables good enough for 1440p @ 144hz?

Or do I need to make sure my cable is DP 1.2?
