Battlefront 3 VERY BAD CONNECTION TO THE SERVER, THIS GAME WILL BE UNPLAYABLE. :(

Very bad connection to the server, this game will be unplayable... they're right. I have been getting this issue since Friday, maybe because its double XP, but I'm fine in any other games. I live in dc, and a ping from a Chicago server is 30. My ping on average is 5 ms, so I'm sure its not from my side. Like I said, this is the only game I get it in. My FPS is around a solid 200, but it has frequent drops to 30-10 fps. When the FPS drops the game shows the very bad connection to server text box. I don't have this issue anywhere else. Here are my PC specs:

2X GTX 980 TI
64GB Ram
asus rampage v extreme
1500 Watt psu

I should be running fine, but I don't get why this is occurring. I've already uninstalled and reinstalled the game, but that didn't help, sadly. Is there something wrong with any of my parts? I already updated all the drivers. Any help would be deeply appreciated. Thanks!

When I'm in game, I ask if anyone else is lagging, and they all say no. I'm fine with any other game, like CS GO and GTA V, but I lag in Battlefront 3. I already updated the TCP and UDP ports in the firewall but that did no help

So I took out one of my 980 tis, and the game ran flawlessly. Now that I put my other one in with sli, the game starts stuttering again. V-sync doesn't help either. Why do you think that is? Maybe the game doesn't support sli'd cards?
