Would this choice of parts work?

Excuse my very big noobieness, but this is my first pc build so I'm pretty nervous that I'll mess something up so I wanted to ask some veteran pc builders first, also if you have any other suggestion for parts don't be afraid to edit the list.

Those components will all work well together. You did OK.
I would suggest you either get 2x4GB or 2x8GB of memory, because with only one stick you loose dual channel memory mode for about a 10% performance drag. Be sure to buy the memory in MATCHED pairs for the most problem-free results.

While the GTX 750 Ti is a nice low end card, for a very few dollars more, you can get a GTX 960 for much better gaming performance.
