Dear Community

I am building a new high end pc and there are some questions that you might help me with, budget is around $2000 could be pushed to ~$2600. This PC will be mainly used for gaming, games will be played are:
TERA
League of Legends [ I know it doesn't require a high end pc]
GTA V, maybe.

I am trying to build a gaming pc that would survive for a good time, like 3 to 5 years or even more, for some reason, i think going for an X99, DDR4 system is the best choice for now since its relatively new and provide high ram speed. the main components that i can't decide on are the CPU, Motherboard and Rams

First of all, which CPU should i go for ?
I'm thinking of i7-5820k, i7 6700k or i5 6600k which one is better and why?

Motherboard: There are tons of X99s out there and i cant decide on which one to go with, which ones are going to fit into this build?

Rams: here is where i struggled the most.. which speed to choose, which brand, 16 or 32GB? is it worth it to go for an expensive brand or all of them will do the job at an equal rate.

GPU: going for GTX 980 ti, Gigabyte Gaming G1?

Cooler: Hyper 212 EVO

monitor: going for ASUS or Benq 27" 144hz monitor, too early for 4k monitors..

rest of components are no big deal they consist of a case, PSU [corsair], SSD [Samsung 850 evo/pro 256gb], Hard disk [ any brand will do it],

Just going to list some points:
-There isn't much of a need at all to go with 32GB of RAM.
-Corsair PSU's are poop (Most of them.. The ones that aren't are completely overpriced[/b]
-I would avoid triple fan coolers as they are usually loud
-X99-A is definitely the board you want.
-No need in going for a 6700k. The only CPU's I would be considering are the 5820k and 4790k. Also the 5930k if you would be using the extra PCI lanes but you arent
-For the monitor I would definitely be going for a 1440p display. I personally have the Asus PG278Q
-For your cooler I would definitely be using something that will allow you to overclock in the future

Feel free to ask any questions :)

thanks for the quick, detailed answer! one more thing, i might as well go for a multi monitor set up, which monitors should i go for? the PG278Q is pretty expensive, around $900 alone.

When you say multi do you mean 3 or 2? I prefer 1 27 Inch monitor or a 21:9 one instead of 3 monitors.

The monitor I would suggest: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824009769&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-PCPartPicker,%20LLC-_-na-_-na-_-na&cm_sp=&AID=10446076&PID=3938566&SID=

The monitor I really really suggest: http://www.microcenter.com/product/450964/MG279Q_27_LED_Gaming_Monitor

The second one is IPS, 1440p, and 144Hz. Has all the bells and whistles

I believe the PG278Q is $660 right now
