I'm about %90 into a build and quite confused about the sata connections this board offers.
I dont know where to plug my drives into. I want to create a raid as well.
I believe the SSD and WD black 2 TB goes into sata 1 and sata 2. After that I'm guessing sata 3, sata 4, and sata 5

I have
1 Samsung 850 500gb SSD
2 WD black 2 TB
3 WD black 2 TB
4 Asus dvd/cd drive
5. Seagate 500 GB

The board has
1. Intel® Serial ATA 6 Gb/s connector (sata 1 and Sata 2)
2. Intel® Serial ATA 6 Gb/s connector ( sata 3, sata 4, sata 7-10)
3. Intel® Serial ATA 6 Gb/s connector (sata 5 and sata 6)

Page 20 and 21 also page 47 shows more detail. Just confused of 3 separate boxes of sata connections.

I hope I've explained what I mean.

Solution
The higher numbered ports don't support RST so if going a 2 Drive RAID would put OS in SATA 1, the RAID in 2-3, Seagate in 4 and the CD player in 5
