I installed Windows 8.1 on my Samsung 850 EVO 250gb SSD and all of the drivers for my PC. I created a new simple volume for my 3tb HDD and 746gb is unallocated and I can't do anything about it.
Specs:
Mobo: ASUS Maximus VIII Hero
CPU: Intel Core i7-6700k
GPU: GIGABYTE G1 Gaming GTX 980 ti
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 3tb
SSD: Samsung 850 EVO 250gb SSD
RAM: G.skill ripjaws V 16gb (8x2) 3000mhz RAM
ODD: ASUS BW-12B1ST
Case: Phanteks Enthoo Pro Full Tower Chassis

Solution
Now you can shut down again, unplug the power, and re-connect your harddrives.
Boot back up.
Delete that odd system partition on the harddrive that's preventing you from converting to gpt.
Convert to GPT

Thanks. Will try to convert the disk now. Also, whenever I boot my new PC, the Win8 logo comes up and then it boots into lock screen. It also prompts me to activate windows. My PC hasn't been connected to internet yet as my MoBo only supports Ethernet and I have to wire it through my house. Is that the reason I get that logo everytime I boot?

I can't convert the disk because there is a part of it that is allocated to system reserve apparently....

My PC won't have internet for a few more days because it my mobo doesn't have a wifi card. I will wire ethernet up to my office. Can't install anything. Also I already started transferring about 300gb of video on the HDD... It is a seagate barracuda 3tb HDD.

Sounds like you installed windows with the hdd attached.
With the power cord unplugged, disconnect the hdd.
Boot up from your system or repair disk and run startup repair. You may have to run it a few times before it fixes the issue.

After that you can reconnect the hdd, delete the system partition and convert to gpt.

I did install Win8 with HDD attached. What exactly do you mean by "Boot up from your system or repair disk and run startup repair. You may have to run it a few times before it fixes the issue."?

I just disconnected my HDD and booted. PC wouldn't boot with ASUS Q-code AE. I turned system off and rebooted and now I'm in my BIOS. BIOS says theres no HDD connected. Do I continue with what you said?

UPDATE:
You're right system won't boot. I put in Windows 8.1 64 bit and found the Advanced Options. I chose the "Start-up Repair" option

I chose the "Startup Repair" option and it booted my PC normally. Now what?
