Hello,

I want to limit the speed on the devices that connected to my wireless network. I'm running a restaurant and offering free wi-fi. There are many devices connected to my wireless.
Is there any tools, devices or configuration in order to limit that?

Thanks!

You could configure your WIFI to be "b" network which would limit each connection to 11mbit. BUT since that slows every device down, it takes each device longer (in time) to make any transfer. Your router can't service another device until the first transfer is complete. There are only so many milli-seconds ...
Your throughput will probably be worse. What you really need to do is invest in commercial WIFI hardware that will allow you to seamlessly have multiple WIFI access points sharing the load. The wired network will be able to handle more clients. Then your limitation will be your internet bandwidth.

Usually this is done by the router and if you are using a basic home based router, it may not offer what you want for a more commercial aspect. Some let you filter but only for all devices. My router allows guest networks, but I can only limit the time spent on it, not the speed.

Because the internet here is not cheap, but I also need to offer wireless to my customers.
I could invest more in devices that could limit the speed. For example, the wireless router that could handle much more concurrent connected devices. Moreover, it also could limit the speed of each device could use, i.e: maximum speed a device could use is 50kbps/device like that.
