Computer with Direct connection to modem while router is running

How can I connect my computer directly to the modem while at the same time, the router is also being connected to the modem.

I don't want to connect my computer to the router but I also need my router running at the same time. My modem have only one direct ethernet connection port.

Any ideas?

Also, is it possible to have 2 modem active with one internet plan? Is there a way to install a splitter for my wall that connects to two modem?

I called my ISP and they said if i want two modem, then I need to get 2 internet plan. But I don't want to pay 2 internet plan.

What about an actual ethernet splitter? Not a switch.

One end going to the router and the other end going to my computer?

I need the modem to read my computer MAC address
