Hello there everyone i am new to building a gaming PC, i am trying to build something good to game on and do some light video editing and i am looking for a opinion from someone on which of the two $700 PC Builds i have found would be best for the price. One is Intel and the other AMD. Prices i put together from shopping around a few site to find what the price range would be for each part.
I would really appreciate a reply from anyone who knows their stuff to help me out. Or even give some advice on better options.

So the first build i have for with Intel's CPU is here:
$181.83=CPU-Intel Core i5-4460 3.2Ghz Quad-Core

$54.86 : RAM-G. Skill Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2x4GB)
DDR33-1600 Memory

$189.99 : GPU-Gigabyte Radeon R9 380 4GB SOC VideoCard

$83.99 : Motherboard-Gigabyte GA-H97M-D3H Micro ATX LGA1150

$49.99 : HDD-Western Digital Caviar Blue 1Tb

$67.45 : Case-Cooler Master HAF 912 ATX Mid Tower Case

$100.00 : PSU-XFX 550W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply

PC Build Total:$728.11

And here is the second build with AMD CPU
$99.99 : CPU-AMD FX-6300 3.5GHz 6-Core Processor

$40.33 : RAM-G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory

$217.38 : GPU-XFX Radeon R9 280 3GB Double Dissipation Video Card

$71.17 : Motherboard-Asus M5A97 LE R2.0 ATX AM3+ Motherboard

$49.99 : HDD-Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal

$67.45 : Case-Cooler Master HAF 912 ATX Mid Tower Case

$74.98 : PSU-SeaSonic S12II 520W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply

PC Build Total: $765.29

Thank you to anyone giving a look at this thread, and again i would really appreciate some feedback.

i forgot to mention that the second one the price also includes a 114.00 monitor and 30.00 or so mouse and key combo on amazon. so it's actual price without those two would be 621.29

Might be worth considering how much you can squeeze into a budget minus peripherals.
