I have Intel e4600 duo@2.4ghz ,I have 3 gb ddr 3 ram and I have to play tomb raider 2013 at 720 p
If I buy gt 730 2gb ddr 5 ,will it work fine with my old cpu?

Solution
Yes, it should. But you will probably still have to play at 720p unless you use very low in-game settings.
With the GT 730, look for the 64 bit version rather than the 128 bit version. The 128 bit version uses a slower GPU.

"be sure you have the 64-bit GDDR5 version in your shopping cart; the 128-bit model is actually slower due to a less powerful GPU": http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/best-gpus,4380.html

Solution
You should have at least 4GB RAM with 32 bit OS, and 1GB GPU, with 2GB GPU 5-6GB. If you list you motherboard there might be some inexpensive (<$20) CPU upgrades available also. Until you can step up to a better system you will only get playable frame rates at 720p.
