Hey guys, I'm trying to upgrade my GPU as I'm running an XFX 7870 2GB from Radeon. I'd prefer something a lot newer that could run well with my future OC to my 4670k to 4.6ghz. I'm trying to play Arma 3 and such and I know it's a powerhouse for CPU's but I'd rather get a GPU upgrade for now. I'm playing at 1920x1080 at the moment but I'm upgrading to 2 monitors soon, once my money comes in. I have a budget of around £650/700 and I'm wondering about certain cards or any suggestions people might have. I'm currently set to buy the GTX 980 TI Hybrid from EVGA as it seems to be a great card but there's hardly any reviews with it. I might get an SLI of x2 with the EVGA if I did make that purchase but I'm confused on what to get currently.

Would it be easier if I bought this card?

The Superclocked, Standard 980 TI from EVGA and SLI it in the future. It's also cheaper so I could upgrade my CPU to watercooling and add my Ram and such.

or should I go full out and buy the 980 TI Hybrid?

Or any other suggestions like a strix, etc. Thanks guys!

They are both gtx 980ti's. They are going to be very similar. I would go for the hybrid, as it is watercooled.

There´s no problem technically. However you´d need a big cabinet and be aware that nothing blocks other components - thinking of cpu coole, ram sticks, drivebays, enough space between pcie slots, radiator locations etc.

You´d be looking at something like this:
