A week ago my pc was still running fine. I still could play Insurgency, Dota 2, Rocket L, CSGO like usual.
However, around 3 days ago, my PC suddenly turned off itself when I start those games. 5 second in game and than boom, my PC turned off. I just got this pc around 3 months ago.

FX8350 (base clock speed) with stock fan
Power Color r9 280x
MSI 970 gaming
Cooler Master V750 80+ gold certified

Solution I've been tried :
1. Install malwarebytes to make sure it's not virus.
2. Clean install windows 8.1
3. Run Prime95 and Furmark to see if something wrong with my hardware
- 2 days ago my PC could run those benchmark perfectly fine. (with max temp 80 degree C)
- Now my pc can't keep up with those benchmark for even 1 minute.
4. Got latest software for my hardware

Something I've been noticed
1. My PC run for hours absolutely fine while browsing, watching youtube, anything but not game and benchmark
2. I logged my temp with coretemp and it shows +- 40 degrees C when PC turn off itself. So i tought it's not a overheating problem

Might it be the software or hardware issue?

Thank You very much for your help!

Thank you for answering!
But i don't think overheating is the problem because the temp doesn't even reach 60 when it's turn off itself. So i think it'll not solve the problem.

It could be a power supply issue since it's happening when your cpu and gpu ramp up and require more power. If you have an extra psu I would try that. Power supplies do degrade over time which means there power output slowly diminishes.

Same as what i tought before. But my psu is a decent one with 80+ gold certified. Is it possible that my psu broken only after 3 months?

Unlikely, but possible.

true, if you have a best buy or pc world near you then you could get a corsair cx750m to test and then return it after you get your RMA.
