Well im thinking of getting the NVIDIA GEFORCE GT 610 for my PC but im not sure if it will work, i have a AMD Athlon 64 3500+ 2.2GHz Single Core CPU, 4GB DDR 400MHz RAM, and i dont know if it will work because the memory and chip clock is faster than my RAM the 610 i found has 810MHz chip clock and 1000MHz Memory clock. I know this PC is old, we bought it 10 years ago and i just rebuilt it, about a few days ago. I will soon be building a proper new gaming PC in a few months time.

Please do not buy GT 610. Its completely waste of money.
If you have slightly more budget, go for GT 630, which is a entry level card.

what is your budget on GPU?

well i want to buy the 610 because the graphics chip already on the motherboard is really bad with windows 7, i wont be gaming, just basic games or no games at all, its just for youtube, microsoft office and homework etc
