Hi,

I'm new to OC, and I have an Intel i5 4690k on a MSI Z97 Gaming 5 with Be Quiet Dark Rock 3.
How much can I OC my CPU without danger ?

And is anyone having my configuration ? For voltage purpose.

I think 4.5Ghz would be nice and secure but what do you guys think and what voltage should I do (1.2 ?) ?

How long is a piece of string? Overclocking is never an exact science and the only way you'll find out what your hardware can achieve is to try it for yourself.

Before you get started, take the time to read plenty of guides so you understand exactly what you're doing. The worst thing you can do is dive in, change a bunch of settings and then panic when your PC starts to BSOD. This is the guide I used and I highly recommend it; http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/272214-29-wolfram-beginner-guide-overclocking.

Never follow someone else's settings to the letter, even if their hardware is identical to yours.
