I have an msi 750ti in a fractal design r5, it runs at max 41°c overclocked under load so no cooling problem there.

The card is overclocked +200MHz on the core and +450MHz on the memory using msi afterburner.

The problem i have is that is does not get to the max clock, only if i put the stress test on 4k which gives me like 10 fps....
I have tried multiple stresstests and also benchmarks.

Help would be appreciated.

Hi,

I would say that since the GTX 750Ti is ONLY PCIe based and has no additional power connectors, I would say that the power needed is not being given and that is stopping the card from reaching the max overclock that you have set it to, unless it is set by MSI and you have not used MSI afterburner, meaning that it is a factory OC'ed card.

Feel free to get back to me with what ever questions you may need.

Thanks,
Simon

the card is factory overclocked and it does not even reach that clock, sometimes when im gaming it wil go all the way down to 300MHz.

Hi,

It seems as if the 750Ti does not have a custom BIOS and I think that Nvidia has limited the core clock and memory on the 750Ti series. I find this a bit weird, but the only thing I would suggest is try MSI's support, or you can have a look at the this, here's overclock.net's 750Ti club thread. http://www.overclock...ell-owners-club

What I find odd though is how the card will be dipping into the 300Mhz range, I don't think this is normal, but the only thig I would suggest is to try MSI or Nvidia, it could be a problem with the card itself, or if using MSI afterburner, you have not given it enough power, I would recommend you try these settings, if your card is only at 41°c.

+33 mV (ish)
Core clock +200MHz
Memory clock +450MHz
